Is this okay?? NOT!!!

Carl is grilling INSIDE the camper. Those are flames in pictures 2 and 3. It was too windy outside to keep the grill lit. Never a dull moment when camping with Carl.

Oh my he found an instrument!!!!

This is Ethan's new hobby as of today. Carl got the accordion that he played as a child out to see about selling it. Ethan took an interest so Carl showed him some basics. Ethan picked up quick on what his dad showed him and has been practicing a bit today. We will see where this goes.

We are home

The trip to Arizona was a great trip. Dad was doing pretty good. He had a glitch on Thursday that required a hospital trip. I cried having to leave him there to come home but he was released back to Hillary's before I even got home on Friday. The trip home was nice until we reached a small town outside of Blanding Utah when my car died. It was if someone just shut the key off. The kids and I waited in a gas station until Carl got there to save us. A 3 1/2 hour wait. The good thing is Carl and some buddies were able to get it running again. As soon as we can we will trade it in on something newer. We are home and we are safe and there was no trauma with the event so all is good.

Change of plans

We are driving and not flying to Arizona. Ethan wants to see Grandpa too so the kids and I will drive instead of fly. The kids are excited to see the grandparents as I am sure they are just as excited. I am anxious to have consistant warmth none of this 65 one day and freezing with snow the next. Sometimes I hate Colorado. The only thing that would make the trip any better is if Carl would come with us. But things being what they are he has to stay home and work. I hate that too, worse than I hate Colorado. HAHA
